The Leyland story is one of success and enjoyment.  Firmly rooted in the traditions of brass music making, Leyland embraces music of all styles and presents concerts of unique quality and entertainment.  The principle of entertainment features very highly in what Leyland is about, whether performing light repertoire or delving into the heavier realms of classical music.  Leyland constantly tries to reach out to its audiences. Flexibility and variety are hallmarks of the band.  Aided by accomplished musicians in all seats, and some excellent soloists, the tone, dynamics and colours of the band are truly first class.

 

Leyland Band is a unique, versatile and flexible resource that can lend itself to any occasion where quality music making is required.  Whether playing to established or new brass audiences, Leyland finds new ways to connect and entertain.  In brass band terms, Leyland is a relative new comer.  However, over the last thirty years Leyland Band has developed a fabulous reputation for delivering quality enjoyment wherever it performs.
